John, who is a former journalist and an unemployed detective, gets a letter from an old friend, Olivia. In the letter she tells him that she discovered a terrible secret about lycanthropy while examining a historical jewel in Prague which is called Blue Butterfly. Olivia asks for John’s help and they agree to meet in Prague. However before their meeting date, John hears about the death of Olivia in a suspicious accident. John still sticks to his idea to visit Prague, but this time to attend the funeral of a friend and discover the secret of her sudden death.
